Timothy M. Kaylor, 49

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Timothy M. Kaylor, of Chestertown, died on Thursday, March 13, 2008, in St. Josephs Hospital, Towson. He was 49.

He was born on June 16, 1958, in Lynn, Mass., the was the son of the late Thomas and Sylvia Hanscome Kaylor.

His family moved to Kent County, Md., in 1974.

He attended Kent County High School.

Mr. Kaylor worked with David A. Bramble Construction in Chestertown as well as Haven Harbor in Rock Hall. He also worked as a painter.

In 1996 he married Alison Williams.

Mr. Kaylor worked until an injury and illness sidelined him.

He was married in and attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Rock Hall.

He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast rooting for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Mr. Kaylor also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing, and he loved his family, the Eastern Shore, and had a wonderful sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Kaylor.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Kelsey Denise Newcomb of Chestertown; two brothers, Michael Kaylor of Chestertown and Steve Kaylor of Beverly, Mass.; two sisters, Kathy Kaylor of Richmond, Va., and Kelly Blackiston of Richmond; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be held privately.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to an Education Fund for Kelsey Newcomb, c/o Peoples Bank of Kent County, 600 Washington Ave., Chestertown, MD 21620.
