MILFORD – As mild temperatures swept across Delaware and the leaves changed to the gorgeous hues of autumn, over 100 people gathered at the Milford Senior Center for Thrive Milford – Senior Life After 55. The Daily State News team was excited to return to Milford for the Thrive senior event, held Friday, October 24. The 2025 event featured exciting activities and vendors on hand to share valuable information. The day included exhibitors, food vendors, door prizes, giveaways and lots of interactive fun. Inside the Milford Senior Center, vendors and exhibitors shared their expertise on the arts, activities, health, home, finance and more.

Interactive demonstrations engaged participants eager to try new activities. Participants eased into the day with Tai Chi, which centered the group and provided a sense of calm. Later in the day, cardio-drumming got people’s hearts pumping and put a smile on everyone’s face. The day finished with a rousing game of bingo. The Milford Senior Center provided the perfect setting for the event and allowed attendees the opportunity to learn more about MSC activities and programs for seniors.
