Thomas L. Barlow

DOVER - Thomas L. Barlow, Dover, passed away Friday April 8, 2016 at Courtland Manor Nursing Home in Dover. He was born on October 14, 1928 in Swansea, Mass. to the late William and Gladys Hayward Barlow. He entered the U.S.A.F. in 1951. He retired in 1971 at Langley A.F.B. VA. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retirement he was employed at Bolan Ford and Kent County Motors. He attended the Cross Church of the Nazarene. Thomas's other passions were cars, Kansas City Chiefs and Coffee and jelly donuts. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 62 years, June Dufresne Barlow; and sister, Pauline Reth. He is survived by sons, Thomas W. (Mary) Barlow, Robert M.(Kathleen) Barlow; grandchildren, Aaron, Robert, and Branden. He often referred to them as his three "out of work comedians". He also leaves behind a host of friends at the Milford McDonald's and the Rt. 13 Dover Dunkin Donuts. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Cross Nazarene Church in Dover. Burial was held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. The family request that memorial contributions be given to www.WoundedWarriorProject.org/Donate Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com
