Theodore A. Szabo, 80
HARTLY - Theodore A. Szabo, of Hartly, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 80.
Born in Bethlehem, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha Munzec Szabo.
Mr. Szabo was a World War II veteran and had served in the U.S. Navy.
He had spent most of his life working with the Department of Corrections for the state of Virginia in Beaumont, Va., retiring in 1989.
He had moved from Beaumont to Hartly in 1989.
He was an avid computer person who especially enjoyed those quiet moments spent at home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Szabo.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Susan K. Szabo of Hartly.
There will be no formal services and burial will be private.
