DOVER - Susan's celebration of life lasted 68 years. She was a partner with her husband of R.L. Rodgers Garage for 27 years, and a partner in marriage for 50! She was born December 17, 1947 in York County, Pa. to the late Thomas and Eva (Gladfelter) Corish. Sue wore many different hats in her walk through life. She was known to many as a Girl Scout leader, Day Camp coordinator, Sunday school teacher, youth leader, traveling drama team coordinator, counselor, missionary and pastor. She was also known to some as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend. For many years Sue was an active member of Christian Community Fellowship Church in Manchester, Pa. and then served at Destiny in Dover, serving God with a servant's heart. Anybody that knew Sue, knew that she had a love for the Lord and was never ashamed to share it. God finished her mansion on June 13, 2016 and called her Home. Susan Lynne Rodgers' legacy that she left behind is the love of her life, her husband, Richard Rodgers; her oldest daughter, Kathleen (Rodgers) Manuel and husband Leland; her youngest daughter, Kristine (Rodgers) Stover and husband Brad Sr.; along with her dearest grandchildren, Erica, Nicholas, Emily, Brad Jr., Abigail and Gregory; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan, and Hailey. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Corish and wife Vaneesa and son Luke of Dover, Pa. We love you mom and you will always live on in our hearts and souls. Rest in the Lord. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18,2016 at Destiny Christian Church, 2161 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19904. Friends may visit one hour prior.
