Susan Eileen Morgan, 60
MILFORD - Susan Eileen Morgan passed away peacefully on October 10, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Newark, DE. Susan was born on April 9, 1961 in Dover, daughter of John Harp Dowell and Sylvia Eileen Dowell.
She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School. She attended some college classes and eventually began working for the Department of Motor Vehicles until 1991. Then she worked for many years with her husband in his chiropractic office, where she loved interacting with patients. She had enormous love for all her family, especially her three wonderful daughters. She also enjoyed teasing her siblings, spoiling her cat, and talking/texting with her many friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Joan Morgan; her sister-in-law, Lisa Morgan; and her niece, Hannah Davies.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Gary Morgan; her three daughters, Kellie (Tom) Hodgins, Alissa Morgan, and Carlee Morgan; her parents, John and Sylvia Dowell; her father-in-law, Woodrow Morgan; her brothers, John (Joe) Dowell and Tommy Dowell; her sister, Grace Dowell; her sister-in-law, Lisa (Greg) Davies; her brother-in-law, Bruce Morgan; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Kane.
Services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE. The visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. and the funeral service will immediately follow. The visitation and funeral are open to the public, while the graveside service will be private. Masks are required.
