Stephanie Lynn Kenton Benjamin passed away peacefully Saturday, December, 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dover on October 18, 1967, she grew up there and chose to make the area her home. working and raising her family. She attained an Associate's degree from the State University of New York at Canton, and was a conscientious, hard-working employee for numerous Kent County businesses.
She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Bill Benjamin, Camden; her daughter, Kortney (Kody) Frye, Frederica; her sons, Ryan Hill, Dover, Daren Benjamin, Camden, Deven Benjamin, Dover and Mark Stephen Donovan, Jr., Fairbanks, AK; her sister, Laurie (Dusty)Kirk, Lorena, Texas; her mother, Barbara N. Porter, Ogdensburg, N.Y.; her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Nelson, Albany, N.Y.; her grandson, Dominic Donovan, Denton, Md.; and many other dear friends she considered family.
Steph was a kind, generous and fun-loving spirit, helping others in need of care or assistance whenever she could, while brightening many days with her innate sense of humor. Her shining presence will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 12/29 at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Del. Friends may start gathering at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
