WYOMING - Stanley Wolin, 76, of Wyoming, died Oct. 16, 2010, at Bay Health Medical in Dover. Born in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of the late Max and Dora Wolinski. Stan was a Korean War Veteran and had served in the US Air Force. Upon his discharge in 1958 he worked as an Auto Sales Rep., a career which he maintained for most of his life. He had worked for several years with J.G. Smith Volkswagen and Dover Datsun (Dover Nissan) for many years and Willis Chevrolet. All those who knew Stan could attest that his name was synonymous with "Cars". He was an active member of the Congregation Beth Sholom and was a proud member of the Masons. He was a long time member of Union Lodge 7, AF-AM, the Tall Cedars, Evergreen Forrest Lodge# 49 and the Nur Temple Shriners. He was also a long time member of the Del-Rods Car Club and the Del Vets Club. Stan will be remembered as being a person who would go out of his way to do you a favor. He will be missed by those who knew and cared for him. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Betty Wolin of Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment will take place on Wed. October 20, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Family suggests donations in his memory to the Congregation Beth Sholom 345 N. Queen St. Dover, DE 19904.
