SMYRNA - Sophia N. Kelley of Smyrna died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, in her home. She was 89.
Mrs. Kelley was born March 25, 1917, in New Milford, Conn., daughter of the late Warsauier and Mary (Lascus) Nabozna.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Kelley was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Smyrna, and the Harvey C. Jones Bible Study Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orlan T. Kelley Sr., in 2005.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Orlan T. Kelley Jr. of Smyrna and Herbert E. and Donna Kelley of Dover; a daughter, Susan K. Leahy of Eureka Springs, Ark.; a sister, Helen Ostrander of New Milford; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Monday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 330 Smyrna, DE 19977.
