Shirley Ross Lewis, 61

BALTIMORE - Shirley Ross Lewis of Baltimore died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in Costal Hospice by the Lake, Salisbury. She was 61.

She was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late Robert and Illine Ross.

Mrs. Lewis retired as a classified sales person for the Baltimore Sun.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Ilsa Lewis of Sharptown and Robert Lewis of Baltimore; a daughter and a son-in-law, Melissa and Larry Ammon of Sharptown; a sister, Colleen Hardy of Ellicott City; six grandchildren, Jonathan Lewis, Rachel Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Josie Ammon, Jacob Ammon and Caleb Ammon, all of Sharptown.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Palm Residence, 9036 Dunloggin Rd., Ellicott City.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Valley Presbyterian Church, 2200 W. Joppa Rd., Lutherville.

Burial will follow in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Patient and Family Services, One Charles Center, 100 North Charles St., Suite 234, Baltimore, MD 21201.
