SEAFORD - Shirley Clark passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family who she loved dearly.
Shirley was born in Milford, daughter of the late Winston W. "Wood" and Virginia (Emory) Ingram.
Shirley was a major part of the family's business, Clark's Swimming Pools, in Seaford, for over 40 years. She always showed her kindness to each and everyone who patronized them since 1972.
Of all her joys, her happiest times were those spent with her family. She loved family togetherness, singing karaoke at their picnics and listening to classic country music. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her community.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Clark; three children, Wade Clark and wife Wynn of Palm Coast, Fla., Chad Clark and wife Jennifer, and Annette Clark, all of Seaford; and her brothers, Barry Ingram and wife Elaine, and Gary Ingram and wife Lisa.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Shirley's memory to the SPCA, 22918 Dupont Boulevard, Georgetown, Del 19947.
