WYOMING, DE - Sherry L. Gary passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
Mrs. Gary was born September 11, 1948, in Moscow, Maryland to the late David Clair Diehl and Evelyn George Diehl.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing solitaire. Mrs. Gary was a member of Christ of Christian Union, Henderson, MD.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by brothers, Duane, Robert, Gerald and Terry Diehl; and sister, Elizabeth Gravley.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David F. Gary of Wyoming; sons, Lawrence Gary and his wife Teresa of Felton, Stephen Gary and his wife Tina of Camden and Paul Gary of Felton; sisters, Linda Rash and her husband James of Wyoming, Karen Gary of Hartly and Barbara Cullum of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Kayla and Travis Gary.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
