Sheila Powell, 44 DOVER - Sheila Powell, affectionately known as "Suga P," of Dover, departed this life March 13, 2010, of breathing complications. She was born Nov. 10, 1965, to the late Daniel and Mother Elizabeth Powell of Dover. She was a good grandmother and mom. She enjoyed life. She leaves to carry on her memories, five children, Tiyana Powell West and husband Rick, Shannon Powell, Stefphone Powell, Jeanatia Powell, all of Dover; 14 grandchildren, Ciyonee, Jayson, Niyana, Ricardo III, Rimyre, Shayanna, Jaiyere, Shannon Jr., Jahmeire, Taron, Nyla, Tamia, Ahjeona, Cameron; and 14 brothers and sisters. Sylvia Custis, Stephanie Baker, Sharon Clay, Marsha Powell, Carmela Powell, Ordeila Jones, Daryl Powell, Sandra Rayne, Karen Bunkley, Dannie Powell, Ray Powell, Jean Powell, Steven Powell, Joy Powell. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and very special friends. She will be sadly missed. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover. Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2010, at First Pilgrim Baptist Church, 6 Miles Lane, Camden, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be in Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughterneck.
