CAMP HILL, Pa. - Samuel Henry Schneider Jr. of Camp Hill passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, in Stonebridge Nursing Home, Duncannon. He was 75.
Mr. Schneider was born March 22, 1931, in Wilmington, Del. the oldest son of the late Samuel Henry Sr. and Rhoda (Darling) Schneider.
He was a retired ironworker and carpenter.
Mr. Schneider enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles, playing the banjo, crabbing and darts.
He played the banjo in the Zembo String Band.
Mr. Schneider was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, Pa. and the West Shore Lodge 681 F&AM. He was also a 22-year member of the American Motorcycle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Schneider; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda and Mark Seesholtz of Kennesaw, Ga., and Laurie Schneider of Flowery Branch, Ga.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Samuel H. III and Cheryl Schneider of Hudson, Fla., and Michael W. and Janine Foose of Mount Holly Springs; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Charles Schneider of Delaware, Gene and Loretta Schneider of West Grove, Roger and Jane Schneider of Townsend, Del., and James and Cathy Schneider of Middletown, Del.; a sister and a brother-in-law, Marie and Tim Miller of Smyrna, Del.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Nov. 18 in Grace United Methodist Church, 317 Herman Ave., Lemoyne.
