She was educated in the Wilmington Public School system.

Mrs. Foeman was married to the late Berley Thomas Foeman in 1932.

She accepted Christ as her personal savior in her 20s under her late brother, Elder Preston Redden, the then pastor of Mount Calvary, which is now Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ.

She was the bishop's first pastor's aide president and president of the youth department and state public relations president of the Young People Willing Workers. On Sept. 6, 1958, she gave her initial missionary message, "I was to See Him as He Is." She was later promoted to an evangelist. In her later years, when able, she would attend Powerhouse Ministries with her children and enjoyed watching them working and serving the Lord. She was also acknowledged in 2004 by the COGIC as a pioneer member. She retained her membership at Bibleway COGIC until her death.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berley Thomas Foeman; a son, Berley Foeman; and 14 siblings, including Elder Preston Redden.
