LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Ruth S. Olson, formerly of Milford, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. Born April 24, 1923 in Felton, she lived most of her life in Delaware before moving to Lawrenceville, N.J., in 2008. Wife of the late John L. Olson, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Gregory L. and Robin E. Olson, of West Windsor, N.J.; two granddaughters and husbands, Meghan and Justin Morse and Laura and Joe Christa; two grandsons and wives, Thomas and Jessica Olson and Matthew and Kathryn Olson; and five great-grandsons, Jeremy, Nathan and Hunter Morse, Ryan Olson and Elijah Christa. Visitation will be held at the Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. and on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Apostle Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford, on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests that memorial contributions be made to either The Morris Hall Foundation, One Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648; Alzheimer's New Jersey, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834; or the Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
