dover - Ruth M. Hewitt passed away on Feb. 21, 2015. She was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Mt. Holly, NJ to the late John and Ada Henry. She retired from the banking industry after many years of work. Ruth enjoyed watching comedy movies and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Hewitt; her daughter, Diane Potter; and her son Darrell Hewitt, Jr. She is survived by her brother, James Henry (his wife Elizabeth) of Buena, N.J.; and her son-in-law, Stanley C. Potter of Dover. A viewing will be held on Thurs., Feb. 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com
