Ruth Ann George

SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Ruth Ann George, 70 of Sudlersville, died Dec. 20, 2011, in Chester River Manor. Ruth Ann was born on Dec. 10, 1941, daughter of the late Francis D. Sr., and Susabelle King George. She worked for Leeds Travelware and for over 20 years with Sandel Packing Company in Marydel. For most of her life she had lived in Millington until moving to Sudlersville in 2008. She enjoyed embroidery and crossword puzzles. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Francis D. George Jr. Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and James Waters of Camden; three sisters, Jean Mulford of Newark, Betty McGinnis of Millersville, Md., and Nancy Lee Karnes of Marydel, Md.; and two brothers, Niles A. George and Charles George, both of Millington, Md. Friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 1 to 2 p.m., in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, Md., where funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial in Asbury Cemetery, Millington.
