Akers, Sr., 52 CLAYTON - Russell E. "Russ" Akers, Sr., 52 of Clayton, passed away October 1, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; mother, Thelma Akers; five children, Russell E. Akers, Jr., Amy M. Paulson, Norman Welsh III, Damion Davis and Chelsea R. Akers; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street in Middletown where friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday evening, October 7, 2013.
