Rudolph Patrick

HARRINGTON - Rudolph Patrick passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, in Union Hospital, Elkton, Md. He was born August 23, 1930, in Amigo, W. Va., to the Late Roy & Mary Etta (Williams) Patrick. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, in both Korea & Vietnam. Rudolph had worked as a truck driver for various companies, including M& G, in Newark and Boutell, in Baltimore. He enjoyed doing anything outside; lawn work, carpentry, and recently remodeling an old Dodge automobile. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Mae Patrick; a sister, Marie Kirk; and brothers, Bart, Ray, Ted, & Paul Patrick. Rudolph is survived by a daughter, Fay M. Foster, of North East, Md.; a son, Roger Rockwell, of Quarryville, Pa.; a brother, Roy E. "J.R." Patrick, of Beckley, W. Va.; five grandsons, Randolph & Brandon Foster, Justin, Nathan, and Michael Rockwell; granddaughter, Patricia Bowden; two great-grandchildren, Victoria Staumbaugh & Lauren Hoke; three great-grandsons, Michael Bowden & Gabriel & Daniel Feliciano; and his faithful companion, his dog, "Lotto". Services with full military honors will be held 1 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd. Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Kent County S.P.C.A Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
