Rose A. Ward, 85

GEORGETOWN - Rose A. Ward of Georgetown died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 85.

Mrs. Ward was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Millsboro.

She loved to crochet and collected dolls.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mary (Calvariese) Esopi.

She is survived by her husband, Taylor F. Ward. four children, Mary Duman and her husband Stephen of Angola, Donna Cavanaugh and her husband Leonard of New Castle, Sheila Bowden and her husband Wayne of Millsboro, and Colleen Smith and her husband Kevin of Georgetown; a very special niece, Sister Agnes Gott O.C. of McLean, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Oak Orchard, near Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior.

Father Robert Burk will officiate.

Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.

Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
