Roscoe W. Radish, 86

LAUREL - Roscoe W. Radish of Laurel died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in his home. He was 86.

Mr. Radish was born in Gumboro, son of the late Herbert and Ella Radish.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Roscoe retired from the E.I. Dupont Co., Seaford, working in data systems. After retirement, he worked with his son at R.W. Radish and Associates of Laurel.

He was a member of American Legion Post 19, Laurel, and a past member of the Laurel Lions Club.

Mr. Roscoe will be remembered for his home building abilities.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Radish; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy and Kathy Radish of Laurel and Ronald and Louise Radish of Tennessee; two stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, John Andrew Jr. and Kathy Rash of Georgetown and Brendan and Sandy Rash of Laurel; a daughter and a son-in-law, Audrey and Dana Moore of Laurel; a grandson, Ross Radish of Philadelphia; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Evangelistic Church, Camp Road, Laurel. The Rev. Roland Tice will officiate.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel.

Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
