DOVER - Rochelle Lucinda Bordley-Taylor of Dover departed this world on Sunday, July 29, 2007, in Christana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark. She was 54.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1953 in Wilmington, the daughter of Phyllis Cunningham-Bordley and the late Oscar Bordley Sr.
Mrs. Bordley was employed with the Sheraton Hotel and also worked at a small cleaning business, Elite.
She loved to spend time with loved ones and have fun with them.
She was very unselfish and she would do anything she could to help out anyone.
Mrs. Bordley was a very hard worker.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Taylor; one son, Michael Bordley; one daughter, Angela Bordley; three step-daughters, Renee Taylor, Shanita Taylor, and Gaynail Taylor; one step-son, Charles Taylor Jr.; grandchildren, Martique, Zashanda, Jaylyn, Megan, Andrew, Breana, Baby Keith, and Mykayla; one brother, Oscar "Bubby" Bordley Jr.; half-brother and sisters, Marvin, Michelle, and Judy; two step-sisters, Jackie and Lynn; step-mother, Emily; Dee, who was like a mother to her; one god-son, Andre; three aunts and four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and in-laws.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday in Trinity AME Church, 27 E. Lockwood St., Middletown, with services immediately following.
