Robert Russell, 70 BRIDGEVILLE - Robert Russell, age 70, of Bridgeville, died suddenly on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at his residence. He was born on May 9, 1939, in Bridgeville, son of the late S. Roland Russell and the late Gertrude Dill Russell. He was also predeceased by a brother, William James Russell in 2007. Mr. Russell was a horse trainer for many years in lower Delaware. He loved sports of all types, especially when the Phillies or the Boston Celtics were playing. Surviving are brother, Ronnie Russell and wife Sonnett; sister, Carol R. Carlisle and husband Keith of Greenwood; and several nephews. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday April 8, at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
