Robert 'Bob' Matther Hoeflich, 65

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Robert "Bob" Matthew Hoeflich, of Pensacola, formerly of Springfield, Va., passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola. He was 65.

Bob was born in Harrington, Del., and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-69.

He retired from the Civil Service, Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, after 30 years of service.

Bob was a former real estate agent and tax preparer, having worked with Jackson Hewitt.

He loved Bingo Paradise, poker at Seville Quarter, Ice Pilots Hockey and Diet Pepsi.

Bob was a very loving husband to Grace for 10 years. He was a beloved father, granddad and stepfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sr.; mother, Thelma; and sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Richard Hutchins.

Bob is survived by his wife, Grace of Pensacola; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Glory and their children, Alex, Matthew, and Ethan, all of Cypress, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Wendy and their children, Emily, Jake, and Nicholas, all of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Susan of Houston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Bill Hertz of Wyoming, Del.; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Ethel of Milford, Del.; stepson and his wife, Jim and Brenda Einhorn and their children of Fredericksburg, Va.; stepson, Richard Einhorn and his sons of Occoquan, Va.; and many more loving family members.

A celebration of Bob's life was held at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ACCU at Sacred Heart Hospital for their loving care to Bob and his family during this time.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Pensacola or the American Diabetes Association.
