Johnson, Sr., 78 MAGNOLIA - Robert Lee Johnson, Sr., AKA "Mister Johnson" passed away on April 30, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to the Late Robert Johnson and Maggie Shealy Johnson on Aug. 10, 1934 in Lexington, S.C. Mr. Johnson was the owner/operator of RL Johnson Trucking, LLC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his only son, Robert Lee Johnson, Jr.; and his daughter, Delores M. Baker (Puchi), both of Dover, Del. He is survived by his estranged wife, Mary R. (Bordley) Johnson of Dover; and his two caring daughters, who also acted as his caregivers, Bessie D.J. Sudler (Melvin) of Clayton, and Mattie J. Abdul-Aziz (Razzaq) of Dover; Robert also had three other daughters, Diane Young (Melvin) of Lexington, S.C., Lillian Church of Dover, and Robin Jackson of Latonton, Ga.; he also leaves to mourn a son-in-law, Robert Baker, of Hartly; a brother-in-law, Dempsey Bordley (Maxine) of Wilmington; a sister-in-law, Martha Bordley of Dover; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He is deeply missed by his very special friends and care providers, who loved him very much, Marybeth Ridley and her son, Justin Ridley, and her other children, Derrick and Sheree, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, lifetime friends, and co-workers. Service will be held at noon on Sat., May 4, 2013 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be at Mount Zion Cemetery, Marydel, Md. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
