Robert L. Morgan Jr.

BEAR - Robert L. Morgan Jr., 45, of Bear, passed away of cancer, Wed., Feb. 15, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Dec. 27, 1966, in North East, Md., he was the son of Robert L. Morgan and Pegeen Ferguson Morgan of Milford. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mervin Morgan; and his maternal grandparents, Otis and Ruby Ferguson. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristin Whitten Morgan; his children, Alyson 16, Patrick 14, and Nicholas, 12 on Feb. 15; his grandmother, Margy Irene Morgan 90, of Elkton, Md.; his sister, Tracey and Dirk VanRees of Milton; three nieces, Lauren and Ashley VanRees, Abigail Rice; and nephew, Jacob Rice. He and his wife own Arner's Restaurant in New Castle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 801 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle. Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, Feb. 19, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek.
