DOVER - Robert "Bob" E. Martin passed peacefully in his sleep on Feb. 19, 2012, at his home in Dover. Born in Arlee, W.Va., on May 27, 1929, to the late Rev. Gerald and Nannie (Caudill) Martin. A veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines and U.S. Navy, Bob retired from Baltimore Aircoil in 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; son, Bobby; and brothers John, Rex, and Bill. Bob is survived by his daughter, Linda Wagenhals; a son, James Martin Sr.; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
