Richard J. Wagener, 60

DOVER - Richard J. Wagener of Dover died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, in his home. He was 60.

He was born March 24, 1947, in Mattoon, Ill., son of the late Norman and Betty (Sexson) Wagener.

Mr. Wagener served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring with the rank of master sergeant.

He currently was working for Dawson Bus Service, Camden.

Mr. Wagener was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Camden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael T. Wagener.

Mr. Wagener is survived by a son, Richard T. Wagener of Wyoming; a sister, Nancy Foster and her husband Richard of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a niece, Darlynn Norwood and her husband James; and a nephew, Michael Rhone.

Services and burial were private in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family requests contributions to the VFW Post 3238, P.O. Box 355, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.

Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
