FARMINGTON - Richard A. "Ricky" Rust Sr. passed away Dec. 6, 2016 at his home. He was born Jan. 28, 1954, to the late Leon and Esther Everett Rust of Farmington. Ricky lived all of his life in Farmington. He graduated from Woodbridge High School. Ricky was a mason, leaving his mark on many jobs. He was known as "Thin Man" by many of his fellow masons. He loved to go fishing, golfing, and riding his Harley. He also loved his dogs, especially Smokey as being his favorite. Ricky is survived by his two children Rick Jr and his companion Maria Sanchez of Texas, and Carey Cole and her husband Lester of Mississippi; (6) grandchildren Collin Rust, Kevin, and Lyndsey Cole, Richard, Arica, and Arielle Rust-Foskey; (4) brothers Leon, David, Jeff, and Randy; (3) sisters Sharon Dawson, Cindy Bolin, and Pat Mast; and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1 pm at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950, where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. Interment service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Harrington.
