Reynolds Bright, 84

MILFORD - Reynolds Bright, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in his home. He was 84. Mr. Bright was born in Felton, the son of the late Arlie and Elsie (Anthony) Bright. He worked as a mechanic for Flanagan Trucking in Baltimore, Md. for 15 years. In 1970, he and his family moved to Harrington, where he worked for the City of Harrington in the maintenance department for seven years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, working with plastic canvas, and watching the stories and Bonanza on TV. He was also an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Bright; two sisters, Eloise Darrell and Lottie Green; and a special brother-in-law, Jimmie Darrell. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nola Bright; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Jimmy Melvin, and Donna and Bruce Harrison, all of Milford, and Elaine and Donald Feyerabend of Harrington; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Ralph Bright. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford-Harrington Highway, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the trust fund set up for his great granddaughter's liver transplant. Contributions can be made to the Childrens Organ Transplant Association, (COTA), 2501 Cota Drive, Bloomington, IN, 47403 - 9917. Please make sure that you put Samantha Wagamon's name on the memo line on the check.
