Rev. Roger R. Ellers, 68 CROOKSVILLE, Ohio - Rev. Roger R. Ellers, 68, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at his residence. Roger was born on Jan. 23, 1941, in Harrington, Del., to the late Roland and Hazel Hopkins Ellers. Roger was a graduate of God's Bible School in Cincinnati where he received his bachelors degree in Ministry. Rev. Ellers founded the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Crooksville 38 years ago and was active in the church until the time of his death. Rev. Ellers dedicated his life to the Lord, his family, and will forever be remembered by his life of prayer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Penn Ellers of home; a son, Kevin (Mary Jo) Ellers of Chicago; four daughters, Kathy Ellers of Independence, Mo., Kimberly (Tim) Forsee of Franklin, Ind., Kelly (David) Stamper of California, Ky., and Heather Ellers of home; two brothers, Kenneth, and Lee Ellers, both of Delaware; two sisters, Esther Dorey, and Shirley Downs, both of Delaware; and 15 grandchildren that were the love of his life.
