Dr. Rev. Ronald William Wuest, Sr. formerly of Dover passed away on August 28, 2021 in his current state of Florida.
Dr. Rev. Ron was born May 19, 1949, in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Phillip Russell Wuest and Mary Lou Sgorlow Wuest.
He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam with the fire service. Dr. Rev. Ron received his PHD from Masters Graduate School of Divinity in Evansville, IND. He served as minister for several churches in the area, Cheswold United Methodist Church, Downes Chapel Church and Delaware Hospice. Following his retirement, he moved back to NJ and then Florida. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports.
He is survived by his son, Ronald W. Wuest, Jr. of Dover; siblings, Phillip Wuest of ARK, Kevin Stetser of NJ and Mary Lou Pavlocan of Dover; grandsons, Ronny and Anthony; six nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Cheswold United Methodist Church, 97 Main Street, Cheswold, DE 19936.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Cheswold United Methodist Church, 97 Main Street, Cheswold, DE 19936 or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
