LONG NECK- Reese "Barney" Barnes Elliott Jr. of Long Neck died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 51.
Mr. Elliott was the son of the late Reese Barnes Sr. and Mary (Burris) Elliott.
He retired from Bunting and Murray Construction as a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Elliott enjoyed bottle collecting, carving ducks, football, NASCAR, working outside and flowers.
He is survived by two sons, Reese Barnes Elliott III and Travis Alan Elliott, both of Long Neck; a daughter-in law, Stephanie Elliott of Long Neck; two grandchildren, Brayden Elliott and Travis Elliott Jr., both of Long Neck; a sister, Gail Wolfe of Long Neck; a half brother, Leonard Clark of Woodstown, N.J.; and an ex-wife, Michelle Gregg of Long Neck.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Rob Townsend will officiate.
