Lonski, 30
Rebecca Maryellen Lonski passed away due to complications from Type 1 diabetes. She spent her recent time working diligently to provide a well funded life for her children. She struggled daily to fight her demons, and tried to find the beauty and humor life had to offer.
She leaves behind her two children, Khloe Rae Anne and Adam Blake. In addition, she leaves her parents, Benjamin and Deborah Lonski, and Lisa and Robert Shaw. Beyond that she leaves her sister, Sarah and her son; her brother, Steven; her brother, Troy; and her brother, Patrick, his wife and their two children.
Additionally, she leaves her grandmother, Ethel Dill; and her grandmother, Nyleen Lonski. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Benjamin Lonski, Jr. She also leaves her grandfather, Francis Buswell; aunt, Kristi Buswell; uncle, Kevin and aunt Deanne Buswell; her uncle, Adam Lonski; and her uncle, Donald and aunt, Melissa Lonski. In addition, there are too many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins to name.
We are comforted knowing there are family and friends to greet her and guide her through the next steps of her journey.
The sheer number of friends she has held close through the years is a testament to her nature and the love in her heart. She could be goofy, was very funny, was beautiful always, and opened her heart to those in need. The world is a dimmer shade without her smile to light it. Enjoy your peace and rest, sweet girl. We miss you already and we will love you always.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donations to the American Diabetes Association at http://www.diabetes.com or 1-800-DIABETES.
A gathering will take place 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del. followed by a Celebration of Life at 3 p.m.
Online condolences may be sent to www.pippinfuneralhome.com
