KENNEDYVILLE, Md. - Reba Ann Hardin, of Kennedyville, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Chester River Hospital, Chestertown. She was 67.
Mrs. Hardin was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Felton, Del., and was raised in Smyrna, Del., daughter of the late Edward and Reba (Sapp) Garrett.
For the past 24 years, she and her husband lived in Kennedyville, where they pastored the Grace Apostolic Church.
Mrs. Hardin loved her family, her church family and reading.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Delema Laundry and Effie Carlisle.
Mrs. Hardin is survived by her husband of 45 years, the Rev. Carl H. Hardin; three children, Reba Postles and her husband Wayne of Kennedyville, and Carla Morgan and her husband Darrell and Carl E. Hardin and his wife Jennifer, all of Millington; a brother, Edward Garrett and his wife Dorothy of Dover, Del.; and six grandchildren, Carlena and her husband Brian Aldrich, D.J. Morgan, Michael Postles and his fiancee Sarah Elgin, Carl David Hardin, Danielle Morgan and Leanna Hardin.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Officiating will be Bishop Chester Wright, district superintendent, United Pentecostal Church.
