Raymond Lee Parsons, 70

FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Raymond Lee Parsons of Federalsburg passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in the Memorial Hospital of Easton. He was 70.

He was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Salisbury, son of the late James M. and Edna (Smack) Parsons.

Mr. Parsons was employed by Acme Markets for 21 years and served as the former manager of the Federalsburg Acme Market.

He was a route salesman for Schmidt Baking Co. for 23 years.

Mr. Parsons was a faithful supporter of Park Lane Church of God, Federalsburg.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Priscilla (Tull) Parsons, whom he married June 9, 1956; three children, Ray Parsons and his wife Trish, and Janice Todd and her husband Roland, all of Federalsburg, and Kathi Dulin and her husband J.W. of Harmony; 11 grandchildren, Cory Parsons, Sarah Robinson, Crystal Rosario and her husband Martin, Justin and his wife Janet, Brooks Todd, Nathan Todd, Bethany Todd, Christian Dulin, Mandy Dulin, Courtney Dulin and Brittany Dulin; 14 great-grandchildren, Christopher Rosario, Esiah Rosario, Hannah Rosario, Nathaniel Rosario, Cameron Parsons, Aaron Todd, Landon Todd, Liam Todd, Kalea Robinson, Niomi Robinson, Ethan Toomey, Dylan Wheatley, Lindsay Breeding and Alexis Fugate; one great-great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Breeding; a brother, James S. Parsons and his wife Mildred of Delmar, Del.; a sister-in-law, Janet Esham of Fruitland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Park Lane Church of God, Federalsburg, where friends may call two hours prior. His son, Bishop Ray C. Parsons, and the Rev. Keith Colona will officiate.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Federalsburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Parsons, Justin Todd, Brooks Todd, Nathan Todd, Martin Rosario, Matt Leimbach and Shea Fugate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Park Lane Church of God, P.O. Box 235, Federalsburg, MD 21632.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg.
