Ralph Rogers Elliott

Ralph Rogers Elliott passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018. He was born April 6, 1926 to the late Charles W. and Georgia Rogers Elliott.
Ralph was preceded by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He was also preceded by his first wife, Florence Niblett Elliott in 1997. He is survived by his second wife of 19 years, Carolyn Rogers; and a daughter, Rebecca E. Koch (Norman). Also surviving are three grandsons, Adam Koch (Debbie), Matthew Koch (Jamie) and Ryan Koch (Maria); four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, MacKenzie, Cody and Leah Koch.
Ralph retired from the Delaware State Highway Department on April 1, 1988. Ralph also farmed and looked forward to his mornings at McDonalds and Saturdays at Wilson's Auction. He lived in the Piney Grove area his entire life and was close to family members, neighbors and friends. He was known as the "historian" in the neighborhood. He was a member of Providence Methodist Church. Ralph was also a member of Franklin Lodge #12 AF and AM of Delaware and Past Master of the Franklin Lodge and also the Odd Fellows. (Union Lodge #3 in Georgetown.)
Services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at the Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro. The viewing and visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Providence Church c/o: Connie Mears; 21595 Paradise Road; Georgetown, DE 19947, or to Delaware Hospice; 100 Patriot Way; Milford, DE 19963.
