Rae Ann Ehrler, 53

GREENSBORO, Md. - Rae Ann Ehrler of Greensboro died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, in the Memorial Hospital of Easton. She was 53.

She was born Dec. 11, 1953, in Jacksonville, N.C., to Ruth (Lewis) Varrone of Arlington, Va., and the late Raymond Joseph Varrone.

Mrs. Ehrler was a graduate of Strayer Business College.

She moved to Greensboro in 2005 and for the last six years was a project manager for the General Services Administration of the federal government.

Mrs. Ehrler formerly worked for the Department of the Navy in foreign sales.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open her own store called Magpie Homewares in Arlington, Va.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steven M. Ehrler; one daughter, Caitlin Ehrler of Richmond, Va.; and one sister, Jerrie Varrone Mirga of Arlington, Va.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where friends may call one hour prior.

Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
