Priscilla "Sue" Truitt, 80
CAMDEN-WYOMING - Priscilla "Sue" Margaret Truitt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Priscilla was born June 18, 1942 in Farmington, Maine to the late, George & Dorothy (Hinkley) Prescott. She had worked in food service for the Caesar Rodney School District for 20 years, retiring from Poly Tech in 1991. In her free time she worked with the Ugly Quilters in Woodside, DE, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, camping, and cruising. Sue was a devout member of the Woodside United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Dora Thomas Truitt.
Priscilla is survived by her three children, Thomas D. Truitt (Tamara), of Waldorf, Maryland; David Truitt (Dixie Wilson), and Deborah Sullivan (James), both of Felton; her sister, Kathleen Fike (Larry), of Hope Mills, North Carolina; her dear friend, Chuck Moller, of Woodside; six grandchildren & six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to The Woodside United Methodist Church, 1407 Main St., Woodside, DE 19980 or to Gift of Life Howie's House, 401 Callowhill St., Philadelphia, PA. 19123.
