DENTON, Md. - Philip Quinton Smullin Jr. of Denton died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, in the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. He was 35.

He was born in Baltimore, son of Deborah Geraldine (Staton) Smullin and the late Philip Q. Smullin Sr.

Mr. Smullin was a cook at Market Street Café, Denton.

He is survived by his mother, Deborah Smullin; a sister and a brother-in-law, Robin Elizabeth and Brian K. Board of Denton; two nieces, Tandy Elizabeth Board and Jasmine Nevaeh Board; a nephew, William Philip Board; three uncles; two aunts; many cousins; his girlfriend, Heather McGinnis; and his son that is due in February, Gabriel Quinton Smullin.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Moore Funeral Home.
