Peter M. Luzaich, 88 WYOMING - Peter M. Luzaich, of Wyoming, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at home. He was 88. Mr. Luzaich was born Dec. 9, 1919, near Duluth, Minn., to the late Milan Luzaich and Mariska Ladisch Luzaich. Mr. Luzaich served in the U.S. Army. He received a degree from Northern Virginia Community College in Liberal Arts and received his Real Estate License as well. He owned a restaurant catering business near Alexandria, Va. for years. Mr. Luzaich also worked as a purchasing agent for the House of Representatives. He was a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post 2, and Modern Maturity Center, both in Dover. Mr. Luzaich enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing poker and reading especially about military history. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia N. Willis Luzaich. Mr. Luzaich is survived by his daughter, Mary E. DeLong and her husband Gary of Wyoming; three grandchildren, Cris DeLong and his wife Sandy of Dover, Tricia and Michelle DeLong, both of Wyoming; five great-grandchildren, Lee, Jellissa, Clarrissa, Dezarae and Nathan. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E.
