Perry Leon Price Jr.

DOVER - Perry Leon Price Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 6, 2012. He was born on Jan. 8, 1954, to Perry and Doris Price of Dover. He attended Howard High School and graduated in 1972. Perry worked for the B&O Railroad Company for several years, and most recently he was a foreman for Playtex Inc. Perry, who was affectionately known as "Breeze" to his family and friends loved singing, traveling, taking long rides, watching the Eagles and spending time with his family. He was skilled at Martial Arts and he loved making people laugh. Perry is survived by his wife, Shirley Price of Dover; his three children, Andrienne Dolley of Wilmington, Perry Price III and his wife Tonya of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Romona White of Newark; 16 grandchildren, Tah'Keya, Jiquese, Tianna, Shania, Kymere, Amani, Emountey, Amari, Jeremiah, Zyaire, Avant, Brion, Azariah, Grace, Miley Renee, and Briten; three stepchildren, Michelle White of Wilmington, Torrie Bordley of Dover, and Anthoy Bordley of Dover; two brothers, Anthony Price of Wilmington, and John Price of Wilmington; two sisters, Cynthia Price-Gibson of Wilmington, and Sherry Price of Wilmington; a grandmother, Martha Johnson of Dover; a special cousin, Edward Moore Jr.; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at 1pm at Bennie Smith Funeral Home Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
