DOVER - Pearline Brown, a loving, caring, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was a leader of the family, a mentor and confidant of the family. She attended Duplin County School and later moved to Kinston, North Carolina. She was born on January 6, 1923. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Brown. Pearline leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ernestine Brown Paskins; two grandsons, Ronald Brown of North Carolina and Irving Brown of Wilmington; a sister, Annie Mae Brown of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be one hour earlier. Burial will be in North Carolina. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
