GREENWOOD - Paul E. Taray, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 83. He was born in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late John and Mary Mahalik Taray. Paul proudly served in U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years, receiving service medals among then was Bronze Service Stars. He was a member of Greenwood VFW Post #7478. He was a poultry farmer in Greenwood for many years. He also worked as a machine operator at the Eaton Corp. in Copley, Ohio, and for Solo Cup in Federalsburg, Md. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Taray. He is survived by his son, Sean Taray and wife Molly and their two children of Greenwood; and extended family. Services will be private. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home.
