Patrick Glen Diltz

GEORGETOWN - Patrick Glen Diltz, age 69, of Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Bay Health Medical Center, Dover. He was born in Texas on Thursday, Nov. 19, 1942, son of the late Robert J. and Ona Beatrice (Franklin) Diltz. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Brenda Joyce Diltz in 1988. Mr. Diltz was a draftsman by trade and worked for many years for Herring Creek Builders in Lewes. He also taught his trade for several years at night school at Del Tech in Georgetown. Hunting and fishing were his favorite hobbies. He is survived by his wife, Joyce L. Theis Diltz; his daughter, Rebecca J. Diltz; brother, Phillip Diltz; step-children, Preston Clark Jr., Christine Hillquist, Tracey Graham, Timothy Clark, and Jody Vesterman; one grandson, Zachary Curtis; and nine step-grandchildren. Funeral Services with Pastor Harold Carmean officiating will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2012, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd Carey Chapel, 307 North Bedford Street, Georgetown, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
