Patricia A. Steele

HARTLY - Patricia A. Steele, of Hartly, passed away at her home on Wednesday March 9, 2011, with her family by her side. She was 58. She was born in Dover, the daughter of the late William J. Poore Sr. and the late H. Frances Poore. Mrs. Steele was a member of Capitol Baptist Church, Dover, and had enjoyed cross-stitch, stamping, fishing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James E. Steele; four children, Robert Steele, John L. Embert III, Jimmy Steele, and Lori Steele; a brother, Wiliam J. Poore Jr.; two sisters, Terri Budd, and Sandra Poore; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her dog, Pooh. Services will be noon, Monday, March 14, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. To send a letter of condolence, visit www.delmarvaobits.com.
