MILTON - Patricia A. (McNally) Mockewich, loving mother, wife, grand mom, aunt and friend passed away, at home, surrounded by loving family on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, after a long and valiant fight. Patricia was a long time resident of South Philadelphia, Pa. and Southern, Del. Patricia spent many years of her professional career as a pharmacy technician and enjoyed a second career in the retail industry. As a resident, in the town of Milton, Patricia was an avid reader, sparked a room with her humor, enjoyed gardening, and spending beloved time with family, friends and her canine companions, Fred and Cody. Patricia gave unselfishly of her time and love to be a caregiver during time of extreme illness of Helen Gallagher and Herman Collier. She made many wonderful friends with many heart felt moments and laughs, especially Cindy Smith, in her current career and she will be sorely missed. Patricia is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Mockewich; children, Brian, Eric and Justin Mockewich; grandchild, Sophia Mockewich; sister, Kathy McNally; brothers, Anthony and William Chantilope; nieces, Joanna (Husband Pat) Gallagher, Crystal and Charlene Mockewich, Samantha (McNally) Brown (Husband Shawn); nephews Michael (Wife Jeanine) and Richard Aversa. In loving memory of her mother, Catherine Marie (Henderson) McNally; father, Edward Joseph McNally; and brother, Edward William Joseph McNally. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del, 19968. Visitations will be Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday after 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 or the American Cancer Society via the web at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/PatriciaMockewich.
