DENTON, Md. - Patience P. Usilton of Denton died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, in Caroline Nursing Home, Denton. She was 93.

Mrs. Usilton was born in Chestertown, daughter of the late Edgar L. Pyle and Dora Sheets Pyle.

She was a graduate of Wash-ington College, Chestertown.

Mrs. Usilton became a teacher in Vienna and was later a substi-tute teacher in Caroline County.

In addition to enjoying her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed playing bridge, playing golf at the Caroline Country Club, and watching the Orioles on tele-vision.

She had been active in Denton with the Cub Scouts and Denton Little League.

Her husband, Frederick G. Usilton, died June 2, 1985; and a brother, Edgar Pyle.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Rick and Veda Usilton of Beltsville and John and Martha Usilton of Salis-bury; a sister, Phoebe Anthony of Chestertown; three grandchil-dren, Kristi Baker and her hus-band, Michael of Pinehurst, N.C., Leigh Usilton of Ocean Pines and Amber Usilton of Greenbelt; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Chloe Baker.

A graveside service will be noon Thursday in Chester Ceme-tery, Chestertown.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Caroline Nursing Home, 520 Kerr Ave., Denton, MD 21629.
