Pastor Peter Seda

DOVER - Pastor Peter Seda passed away, Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 at Christina Hospital.
Pastor Seda was born June 29, 1923 in Puerto Rico to the late Jose Seda and Francisca Seda de Seda.
He served in the United States Army Medic Corp. during WWII in London, England. Pastor Seda graduated from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, N.Y. and became a minister and was also a missionary for 50 years in Cuba, Venezuela, Peru and Columbia. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Dover where he served as visitation minister. His life was dedicated to Jesus, serving the church and its ministries. He enjoyed being with his wife and family and endeared himself to all through his humor and kind spirit.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Seda Rivera, Joe, Henry and John Seda.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Marion Spencer Seda of Dover; son, Dr. Jonathan Seda and his wife, Dale of Dover; siblings, Alfred Seda (Tessie) of Florida, Christina Seda Valencia of New York, Eli Seda of Florida, David Seda of Florida, and Steve Seda (Jeannie) of Colorado, Julia Seda Hernandez (Hermes) of Florida; grandchildren, Michelle Novenson (Matthew) of Scotland, Kristen Seda of Virgina, Mark Seda of Delaware, and Matthew Seda (Jennifer) of Delaware; great grandchildren, Hans, Levi and Ben Novenson, Jack, Ainsley, Garrett, and Tallulah Seda.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Road, Dover. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904 or Elim Bible Institute, 7245 College St., Lima, NY 14485
